Just read about your dog bill, sorry to hear about him.
My dad was trying to teach my dog to ''Lay down'' once, and she didn't want my dad to touch her legs, so she snarled and was really showing her teeth. So she went and sat on the stairs ( where she sits when shes upset) and my dad went to go stroke her, suddenly she went into one and bit through my dads hand, right near his thumb, he had to go to hospital, he is just left with a everlasting scar now. :( Lovely piggies you have though :) and lovely website :D

Hi Kay, just dropping by to say hello again, hope you are now fully recovered from your injuries and hoping that it hasn't put you off of visiting us down here in the New Forest. I had been hoping to come to the Kent Show next weekend but unfortunately my Friend that I was going to travel with is unwell and unable to come. Hi, What a lovely site, your guineas are gorgeous and look thoroughly spoilt!I had a tear in my eye after reading your tribute to Bill, a similar thing happened to me about 20 years ago with a first cross Spaniel, she was always guarding things and was a growler if anyone went near her bed but one day as I came through the door she just flew at my face, luckily there was no permanent damage but the blood at the time was awful and we did the same as you and took her to the vets, I couldn't risk having her around our young children. We never forget Sadie and I know that you will never forget Bill, it doesn't make it easy even when you know that you doing the only thing possible. Oh my god - My sister in the Uk breeding guinea pigs! We had them when we were kids - i still have a scar on my hand from the chicken wire when cleaning them out! So how come two of them have the same names as your nephews Kay!!! ( Ben and Alex) you will now have to name 2 more Nikolas and jacob so they don't feel left out! I am really looking forward to meeting your piggies when i am there too! How about sending me your email address so i can email you i am at dbelcher@xtra.co.nz and at dayle2nzei.org.nz - yep i work for the teachers union in NZ so I hope you are a Union member over there!!! and why don't you have an albino piggy called snowy like i used to have?? eh??? :-)
